More than 207 volunteers turned out to rid our beach of 485 pounds of trash & recyclables!

Sponsored by:  F P L…and what a GREAT turnout by their  Community Volunteers Corps!  We love your energy & enthusiasm!  This is the 12th year of FPL-sponsored August beach cleanup, and the 5th anniversary of our practice of “weighing the garbage” (previously we simply counted the large trash bags). The five-year cumulative estimated weight: more than 31,000 pounds.

Starbucks of Jupiter, provided coffee & pastries for all hard-working volunteers!  Thank you to the Starbucks volunteers from the three Jupiter locations:  Indian Creek (Sea Plum Plaza), Abacoa and Indiantown Road.  The coffee & pastries were an absolute hit.
