Beach Crossovers Renumbered
Palm Beach County has renumbered the wooden walkways (and manmade pathways) that cross over the sand dunes from Boca Raton to Jupiter to enhance emergency response time. The dog-friendly beach crossover numbers are now 25 – 59 (previously 2 -2 4). Most crossover numbers may be found on the shower stalls, indicating jurisdiction of TOJ (Town of Jupiter) or PBC (Palm Beach County). Examples: Old #2 (southern boundary of dog-friendly beach) is now #25. Old #10 is now #33. Old #12 is now #43. Old #24 (northern boundary of dog-friendly beach) is now #59.
